Cancellation Policies

Pinnico Cars allows owners to choose among three standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, and Strict) that we will enforce to protect both renter and owner alike. Each listed car and its confirmed on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy. Renters may cancel and review any penalties by viewing their travel plans and then clicking ‘Cancel’ on the appropriate reservation. A owner will be able to see the number of reservations a renter has canceled over the previous 12 months when the renter submits a request to book.

Flexible: Full refund 1 day prior to arrival

  • Delivery fees are always refunded if the renter did not take the trip.
  • The Pinnico Cars service fee is refundable if the renter cancels before the trip starts. If a renter books a reservation that overlaps with any part of an existing reservation, we won’t refund the Pinnico Cars service fee if they decide to cancel.
  • Base fees (the total day rate you're charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
  • If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to Pinnico Cars within 24 hours of trip start.
  • Pinnico Cars will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes.
  • A reservation is officially canceled when the renter clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Cancel.
  • Cancellation policies may be superseded by the Renter Refund Policy, extenuating circumstances, or cancellations by Pinnico Cars for any other reason permitted under the Terms of Service. Please review these exceptions.
  • Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.

For a full refund of base fees, cancellation must be made a full 24 hours prior to local trip start time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of trip start. For example, if the trip starts on Friday, cancel by Thursday of that week before trip start time.

If the renter cancels less than 24 hours before trip start, the first day is non-refundable.

If the renter arrives and decides to leave early, the base fees for the days not spent 24 hours after the official cancellation are fully refunded.
